Solarium greenhouse shades are fabricated in a unique DOUBLE cell honeycomb fabric designed to trap air in the individual cells and cause them to act as insulators. Regardless of the interior color chosen the exterior color will be white. This will maximize the reflection of the sun’s radiant heat and keep a uniformity of color to the exterior of the building. The white backing is also 98 % resistant to Ultraviolet light which is responsible for fading and sun damage.
When closed the solarium greenhouse shade traps air between the rear of the shade and the glass as well an in the triple layer of honeycomb cells reducing radiant heat gain by up to 89% thus allowing air-conditioning to function effectively. !WC’s greenhouse shading can also reduce winter heat loss by more than 55%.
